Raffles Montessori Pte Ltd can now offer you access to its brand name and business model. We are keen to build relationships with potential licensees, franchisees, commercial partners and investors who are interested and passionate in running an authentic Montessori school. Through these links we hope to expand and cultivate our Montessori model while maintaining our current reliable standards to provide the best possible service and opportunities to the industry. Our success is built on a foundation of strength through satisfied parents, with over 70% of our school enrollments generated from referrals by parents with children who have benefited from our programmes. The syllabus and curriculum offered at Raffles Montessori are approved by the Ministry of Education in Singapore. We prepare our students and help to connect them to mainstream schools in Singapore or Canada.

Licensing Model

Under a licensing model, Raffles Montessori licenses the use of its intellectual property (IP) – brand, design and/or business programmes – to other parties (the licensees). These licenses are usually non-exclusive, which means they can be offered to multiple competing parties serving the same market. In this arrangement, the licensor, Raffles Montessori may exercise control over how its IP is used but does not control the business operations of the licensees

Franchising Model

In a franchising model, the franchisee uses the Raffles Montessori business model and brand name to operate what is effectively an independent branch of the company. The franchisor, Raffles Montessori, maintains a considerable degree of control over the business operations and processes used by the franchisee, but also assists with managing, branding and providing marketing support to the franchisee. The franchisor also typically ensures that its branches do not cannibalise each other’s revenues.

Both systems require the licensees and franchisees to make payments of fees and royalties to Raffles Montessori.
